U16 Boys Team Display Their Strength

West Bromwich U16's swept aside a decent Harbourne team with a strong Cup performance scoring 14 goals to breeze past Harborne U16's who could only manage 2.
Straight from pushback West Bromwich put their opponents under the cosh with wave after wave of attack, resulted in the half time score being 7-1 to West Bromwich. Four first half goals from Jack Reeves, two from Sahib Singh and one from Captain Shiv Ram Kapoor, who also assisted in four of the other goals, putting the game out of Harbourne's reach before the first half came to an end.
West Bromwich came out for the second half and carried on where they left off at half time, continuing the display of high intensity hockey.
A second half goal from Jack Reeves, three more from Shiv Ram Kapoor, two from Callum Taylor & a fine debut goal from Yash Jiwa polished off an outstanding team performance. The whole team were excellent and all deserved praise for their clinical approach.
Alex Clarke, Fudge Thornton, Jaggit Singh, Cameron Grewel, and Kharak Chana all played a level of hockey far beyond their years, putting on a performance which would have humbled many an adult team. The future is looking bright for West Bromwich HC.
Alex White was superb and impartial as the club umpire, keeping the game flowing - A great example to any official umpiring youngsters.
