Match Report | Another good performance from the 2nds, who quickly bounced bak from the dissapointment of the last minute goal against them at the end of the last game. Jack and Fudge played really well joint and were awarded joint MOTM. Kaine, Mickey and Dan all celebrated goals, as well as a stunning reverse by Will Thomas which stunned the opposition defenders and goal keeper. The result keeps the 2nds in close contact with the top of the league, and showed the strength and growing confidence of the squad this season, with new-comers starting to gel well with the established players. Wolverhampton didn't play badly, and came back after going 3-0 down before half time with a strong start to the second half. West Bromwich held on, defended solidly, and kept pushing, breaking well at every opportunity. It was also a good performance by goalkeeper Jay, who kept a clean sheet for the team, and was very vocal and a solid support for the defenders. |
